If you’re taking the time to read this, it’s because you want to better yourself in some way. So here is a very specific list of things you can do IMMEDIATELY to start making forward progress in every single area of your life.

Don’t overthink, just do. Trust me; you won’t be sorry.

  • Open up a gratitude journal and every morning, make a list of all the things you have to be grateful for. (3 minutes minimum)
  • Look for the opportunity in every failure, setback, crisis, and obstacle. It’s there, but you have to be looking for it.
  • Rest, but NEVER quit.
  • Surround yourself with people who you can learn from, and make you feel good.
  • Spend 30 minutes every day reading/listening to books or some type of personal development.
  • Make your health your #1 priority by eating well and exercising routinely.
  • Increase your productivity 10x by creating a list of 3-4 high priority tasks EVERY DAY.
  • STOP taking weekends off from everything! How will you make progress if you’re taking nearly 30% of your time “off”?!

“I AM”

I started building my business in 2012 and I have been personally responsible for coaching hundreds of Champions to weight loss success. Guided them through elimination of consumer debt and I have been blessed to support them as they recover those moments of time freedom, financial freedom and health freedom in their life. That’s my job and has been for the last five years. I have not only helped others regain those freedoms, but also have personally been able to eliminate consumer debt and recover from health challenges.

I love my “work from home” job and my vision for its future is massive. It truly gets me out of bed everyday and energizes me. Make no mistake though. Being your own boss is scary. Taking personal responsibility for your financial future and the lives of those closest to you, will indeed keep you up at night. My goal is ALWAYS, “do what you have to, so you can do what you want to.”

Let’s talk about FEAR now …
OMG!!! Heck yes there is FEAR. Real FEAR … because you have to take everything through the “gut filter”…

1. What’s the BEST thing that could happen?
2. What’s the WORST thing that could happen?
3. What’s MOST LIKELY to happen?

To be an entrepreneur or a business owner and also already have a family to support on the road to that DREAM. WOW!!!

Now the reason I am sharing this bit of “personal” is because I have a vision for my family.

1. I want to be available … no matter what … for my girls (I missed half their lives being on a plane thinking I was doing the right thing.)

2. I want to offer them the WORLD, without limitations due to money or time. (I pray this happens in my lifetime so I can experience it with them.)

3. I want to build a legacy for my future family … I want to be able to give to my grand kid’s, grand kid’s, grand kid’s long after I’m gone.

Where does FEAR creep in? When I see others LIVING the life I dream of.

1. My first response is not the best. I get a little nauseous and overwhelmed. It’s not even envy … it’s literally the fear of knowing what it will take to get there.

2. Then my next response is more normal. I sort of check out of my fear zone and check into my brain break zone and I imagine myself there … where they are … doing the amazing things they are able to do.

3. Then my next wave is simply knowing that they are human beings just like me and I am capable of doing what they do and being where they are … then a self evaluation checklist flies through my brain and I hear myself (almost like a superior) start asking questions. Like, “have you done this today, or that today?”

4. Then I honestly take in a deep breath and wish loving, abundant thoughts over those who are able to have those incredible experiences.

5. Finally I do some personal affirmations … because ultimately, whatever follows “I AM” will come find me.

Belief is everything on the road to becoming an entrepreneur.

Thank you for reading this far.

I love being a ” Yes Mom” instead of being the mom that has to say “no” because of lack of time, lack of energy or even lack of money.  In 2012, I set out on a mission to become a mom who could work from home, be available to her daughters and ultimately be a forever “yes mom!”

💐 Here we are … five years later.  I am home, I homeschool my daughters and never miss a moment of their lives because of lack of time.  They are priority one.   This is only possible because I said yes to an opportunity that has forever changed our lives.  First, our health improved, then our time freedom improved and then our financial situation improved and now we have more choices.  I love that it will continue to improve because I am the one in control of this.  I don’t worry about recessions or layoffs anymore.  If I want more income, I go out and help more people reach their own goals.  That’s it! It’s pretty awesome. I’m very thankful to have that freedom of choice.

💐 Today, I was looking back at albums on my phone and computer and even some of the albums that are in my personal coaching groups and I got emotional remembering how most of those conversations started. Everyone had a story, a goal and a “why” … all they needed was a HOW and someone to believe in them until they could believe in themselves. I just wanted to thank those of you who chose me personally to coach you, encourage you and cheer you on!

💐 Here’s to many more years of helping more Champions with the HOW!💕

So, I’ve got something on my heart to share, in hopes that this will help open some of those blocks you might be having.  I’m all about acronyms that just something that’s easy for me to remember. Running a successful business can be very E.A.S.Y. for you if you follow that simple little acronym. Here’s where this idea came from, after I gave birth to my second child, I read this book. The author used the E.A.S.Y. acronym to help parents trying to get their newborns on a regular eating and sleeping schedule.  The pattern was, “eat, activity, sleep, and YOU time!” We really needed this to work because, I was flying four days out of the week and my husband and I back then were, “tag-team” parenting. We needed to be able to pick up where the last parent left off and be on the same sheet of music. This helped us all get into a routine and taught our daughter how to sleep through the night. It was so important to make sure that everybody else was having some sort of sanity, so we needed to come up with something that worked.

This E.A.S.Y. system can also be applied to your business. So, let’s break this down one letter at a time.

E – that’s your excitement. Commit to sharing your excitement, every single day, no matter what. It doesn’t matter whether it’s in person, on social media, in a newsletter, a podcast or even before a large group like FB LIVE.   You are sharing something that you’re super excited about and that passion can move your business.

Athat’s action.  You have got to take an action every single day to further your business.  Whether you only spend 20 minutes or 2 hours on your business every single day, you must be in ACTION.  The cousins of action are consistency and persistency, which means having a consistent DMO (Daily Method of Operation) and move with persistence through each activity.  Side note, I’m not talking about busy work, I’m talking about working your business.  Some examples are actively setting appointments to share your products, ideas or services and build relationships.  Doing follow-ups are also action oriented.  Delivering excellent customer service is also very action oriented. Consistently doing action-oriented activities every single day will push your business forward.

Sthat’s system.  Every business has some sort of success system to follow. During your day, you must either be doing a one-on-one’s, two-on-one’s or three-way phone calls. Also, bringing folks to large group meetings, webinars or events are also part of a success system.  The one-on-one is the only part of this system that you do alone.  No one is a self-made anything, working with other leaders or teammates is the only way you will not only be successful, but also become duplicatable which is how it becomes a successful system.

Ythat’s you and “why”.   You must have a defined purpose.  I was asked once, “If your purpose was your boss, would you get fired today?” Every single day you must commit to your purpose. Now if you don’t know what your “why” is, then that needs to be figured out now. There are ebbs and flows in every business, and you must be so “sold out,” on your purpose that nothing can stop you from waking up every day and fighting for it. The other “Y” stands for you. YOU have got to grow daily!

In, “The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership,” John Maxwell talks about the ‘Law of the Lid,’ if you are not becoming more, you will not attract more.  Which means, you cannot attract anyone better than you. It’s just a given; if you’re at a six, you cannot attract the seven and eight or nine. So, for you to be able to attract more, then you must become more. Which means that every day, you commit to doing one thing that’s for personal growth. Once you are done with “Y”, you go right back to “E” and show your excitement, do something action-oriented, follow the success system and then go to work on yourself! EASY right!?!?

Five years ago today, I decided that if I didn’t start taking back control of my mental and physical health, my days were numbered. I didn’t know how I was going to change or if I would be strong enough to follow through.

All I knew is that if change was going to happen … it had to start with me! I only look back in order to celebrate how far I’ve come.

“My purpose is strong, my resilience is stronger … when tough days come, I push even harder!”
