Welcome to my timeline which will be updated as needed.
JULY 2006 ~ BELLY SLEEPER
When I came home from the hospital, I slept on my tummy and at that time babies weren’t supposed to sleep on their tummy. My dad told me that they would take turns watching me and make sure I was okay and didn’t stop breathing. I still ONLY sleep on my tummy.
JULY 2009 ~ WALKING AND TALKING
That’s when I finally learned how to walk and talk. I don’t remember when I took my first steps, but I watched a video my mom made and I fell on my butt a lot. I still fall down a lot. Oh, and I also started saying my first words. My first word is kind of funny because I think it made our dog a little angry. My first words were “Arf Arf.”
JULY 2009 ~ FIRST BIRTHDAY
My FIRST BIRTHDAY!!! So I had a princess birthday and everyone came and I had a beautiful, pink number one cake and I got a crown and a pink bumpy blanket that I still sleep with every night. I remember my cake and my birthday because of this picture. I will never forget my first birthday.
DEC 2010 ~ FIRST MOVIE
My first movie I ever saw is my next memory. We went to the fanciest movie theater in town, hahaha, I am totally kidding. It was only AMC and we saw Toy Story 3. I will always love that movie. Oh and that’s my daddy. He also drew the comic book cover of me for this timeline. It’s called the “Mawter-Welon” chronicles because I could never saw water melon right. I also would saw “cuba-shriber” instead of scuba diver and called my little sister “Sanessa” forever. Her name is Samantha.
SEPT 2012 ~ FIRST DAY OF FIRST GRADE
My first day of first grade was probably the scariest day of my life because everyone was so chill and then I walked in and EVERYONE looks right at me when I walked in the door. My teacher was very nice and there were some kids that were crazy and some who liked my cute, little sister more than me. There were two bullies in my class and then I met my nice and amazing friend Tashia. It wasn’t the worst day. It was more good than bad.
2012 ~ LETTING GO OF THE BARS
(This is my Secondary Source entry)
My mom tells everyone the story of the first time I let go of the bars and hung upside down without holding on. She told me that I came home from school and on our way to gymnastics I told her that everyone at school was letting go of the monkey bars on the playground and hanging upside down and I told her I wanted to try. She told me that I had to wait until I could do it in gymnastics. So at gymnastics, I put my legs over the bars and my mom said that I looked like I was going to try to let go for the first time. She told me she was so scared to watch and so nervous. I don’t remember how I felt. She said that I first let go of one hand and took a deep breath and then let the other hand go. She said I did it for two or three seconds and then grabbed the bar and flipped off it. She said I stood on the mat completely still like I was thinking about what just happened. Then she said I turned and looked right at her and said, “Did you see that?” My mom said that she was freaking out watching me be so brave and she was sooooooo proud of me. Then I tried again and fell on my head. Here is a video of when I got really great at hanging and flipping over and letting go.
SEPT 2016 ~ FIRST ROAD TRIP
My first road-trip was to visit my family and celebrate my Grampy’s life who had passed away. We drove from Davenport, Florida to Derry, New Hampshire. There were some struggles at times, but we got there. When we got there, we did so many things. We were there with my Grammy “MeMe”, my Uncle Stephen, my Aunty Julie and Uncle Joe and their kids Immy and Dez. We stayed at a beautiful hotel at night, but during the day we were with MeMe. I braided doll pony’s hair, we made milkshakes and watched Muppets, and we looked through a lot of old pictures. I hope we can go back again this year.
AUGUST 2017 ~ MY SECOND ROAD TRIP
(Franklin, TN ~ 100% Solar Eclipse)
My mom’s best friend Jenn invited us on a road trip to Tennesse to see the Solar Eclipse at 100% and it was amazing. We stayed in a beautiful house and I met some really nice people. I also got to play on a rope swing for the first time. I learned a lot about the history of Franklin, Tennesse and went on a tour of the Carter House and learned about “The Battle at Franklin.” here is the video from the eclipse.
AUG 2017 ~ FIRST SLEEP OVER
My first sleep over was so much fun. We celebrated my friend Novia’s 13th birthday. I had cake and went swimming and got to make new friends. We played games and danced, we watched a movie and we even added each other on snap-chat and can now text each other. This “first” will lead into another first next month when my sister and I start Girl Scouts. All of these girls will be in my new troop.
