Our Brisbane Voice Over course is all done in a professional studio and we only take a very small class size. We think becoming a great voice over artist is about getting time in the studio and practising in the most practical way possible.
This four-week course will be hosted by Andrew Hearle and other professional voice over artists and voice teachers.
We have run 10 successful voice courses now in Sydney, and it's about time Brisbane got to experience what everyone has been raving about!

The Structure of the Class
This course is a chance to hone your skills in voice over. We are very much industry focused and we will be working on techniques and skills you need to book work. We will go across a wide range of styles and push you throughout the course.
We will look at everything from microphone technique to audiobook recording, and you will leave the course feeling confident to tackle whatever script is thrown your way.
As commercial work is the bread and butter of most voice over careers that will be a strong focus of the course, but we will look also at narration, corporate, character/animation and even some promotional content.

Each class runs for 3 hours and will be 95% practical - up on your feet in the booth, or listening and learning from our other students. We believe this is the best way to learn and we have seen amazing results from the course.

Every night for 4 weeks 6.30-9.30pm. Every Tuesday night.

This course will take place in a professional voice over recording studio in central Brisbane This is a state of the art recording studio.

Andrew Hearle:
Audio Producer, Voice Artist and CEO of StageMilk.com
Andrew Hearle is an acting graduate of the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts. He has worked as a professional actor across film, TV and theatre. Andrew has also worked as a professional voice over artist for many years.
Andrew is the founder of StageMilk.com, a leading acting resource website and is the man behind Sydney Voice Reels + Collective Sound two major voice over production companies. Andrew has helped produce over 200 voice demos and countless voice over jobs. Andrew has worked with Telstra, Gatorade, Flight Centre and many other household names.
Andrew is a trained audio producer who specialises in voice overs and has produced voice over demos for RMK, Scout Management and many of the countries leading VO talent. His combined skills as a producer, director, actor and teacher allows him a unique insight into what it takes to make it in the VO industry.
During the course Andrew will be offering insights both into voice over technique as well as the technical side of the industry.
ASHLEE LOLLBACK
Voice Over Artist/Actor
Ashlee Lollback has been working as a professional voice over artist for the past fourteen years. She has voiced television and radio campaigns for some of Australia's largest companies such as Dreamworld, Goodstart Early Learning, Suncorp, Andersens, AAMI, Mazda, Garnier, Australia Zoo, Treasury Casino, CQUni, Subway, Flight Centre, Big Box Cars, RACQ and many more.
Ashlee is also a professional actor and teacher and is incredibly passionate about helping upcoming voice over artists break into the industry.
THOMAS
LARKIN
Voice Over Artist/Actor
Thomas Larkin is an award-winning actor, voice artist and arts educator. Thomas graduated from the prestigous Victorian College of Arts (VCA). As an actor Thomas has worked extensively across film, TV and theatre. Some recent highlights include Baz Luhrmann's ELVIS and portraying Biff Loman in Death of a Salesman for Queensland Theatre, for which he won a Matilda Award.
He is a highly sought-after voice artist, working with clients including BMW, TattsLotto, QLD Government, and Beyond Blue.
DIANNE EDEN (OAM)
Professional Voice Teacher
Dianne Eden was the Head of Voice and Acting at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) for 23 years and has nurtured two generations of Queensland actors and voice over artists.
Dianne is Australia's first Designated Linklater voice teacher and works regularly at Shakespeare & Company, Massachusetts, NIDA, and University of California and Los Angeles (UCLA). In 2018 Dianne was also awarded the prestigious Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) for service to performing arts education.
During the course you will work with some of the leading voice over experts in the Brisbane industry. This is a unique opportunity to work with four incredible teachers during the one program. Ashlee is one of Brisbane's leading VO artists, and Dianne Eden is the top voice expert in Brisbane.
